Why I'm Excited for a Potential Mirror's Edge 2

BNR: Back in 2008 EA and DICE gave us Mirror’s Edge- a first person game that said goodbye to standard run and gun gameplay and put movement and exploration in the forefront. Gone were the dark environments that populate most shooters. Instead we had a vibrant, clean world that we could only hope to have in the future. Mirror's Edge was a fun game indeed. Would love to see it get another chance.

Im excited also because the game will be showcased on the xbox one using the Frostbite 3 engine. @ below there are numerous threads nd rumours on this forum go look it up. Ps4 hardware isnt that much better look at the games for it they only look marginally better than ps3 ..nuff said.

That's right, if it looks good on the least powerful system it should be awesome on the PC and PS4

I'm not sure if it'll use Frostbite 3 or not, it depends on what they're going for as far as the way it looks and feels, really. I'm just hoping they keep it cel-shaded and clean.

I would like to see it opened up a bit. NOT open world, but open like Crysis 1 (I don't mean jungle).

I would also like to see no guns. Never thought the first one really needed them IMO.

Focusing on escape and evade is the way to go IMO. Melee combat is fine, but it really shouldn't try to be a shooter.

Having said that, my biggest concern is that is exactly what they intend to do, make it more of a shooter.
