Isaac Wagner: "It's not hard to imagine another 5-10 years of trite first-person shooter hell when I see Killzone: Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Ghosts leading the charge at next generation press conferences, but then a game like Call of Juarez: Gunslinger comes around, the latest entry in a franchise I thought buried after the abysmal-looking Call of Juarez: The Cartel, and shows that there might still be something novel about this whole shooting guys thing. That there might be still some special light past the modern military man with his modern military man gun. Like the glint of two revolvers and the untrustworthy sparkle of an old man's fading memory."

I’m pretty sure that’s not what people were saying when it first released. If it was better received we’d probably of seen a sequel.
Duel in this was nerve wracking never seen a better game that nailed the focus and feel of tension of gun duel since.
Sound design was amazing as well.
Very fun western shooter.
Damn i played it for an hour and liked it way back...but i got distracted by something else and never went back to it...still own it on steam.
