9 Insane Video Game Fan Theories That Actually Make Sense

WC writes: Video gamers are a passionate bunch, and when we like something we fiercely commit our imaginations to it, even coming up with our own theories and explanations for what’s taking place. Though most of these are simply fun and easily dismissed, a few have had sufficient thought put into them that they make us think for a second longer, that perhaps someone may have cottoned onto something the developers chose to hide inside the game.

Of course, coincidences happen, but I think you’ll agree that these 10 video game theories might seem totally bonkers at first, but actually do make a measure of sense when you think about it. (Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Mass Effect 3, PC, Portal, PS3, Retro, Xbox 360)

The Rinoa theory is fantastic, the first time I heard it then played it through again I thought "Holy crap, this actually does make sense". Sqaure actually denied it though once it got around but even still they could easily change their minds on it.

It would be a great plot for the sequel if it ever got one. The first one was about changing the future to save the past and it involved time travel. I'm sure the second one could involve the multi world theory and other worlds, worlds where she won't become Ultimecia and Squall, as her knight has to help stop it from happening. You also have to think about how the world is now everything is over, maybe they might start sorceress hunts so this won't happen again and Rinoa could be pulled into it, hell it might be why she becomes Ultimecia if that sort of thing goes on after Squall and her friends die of old age
