Opinion: Connectivity and the Next Gen

Rather than open with the clichéd comment on how culture is becoming increasingly connected in every aspect of our daily lives (yada, yada, etc.) I’ll assume you haven’t been living under a rock nor had a bowl of oblivious for breakfast. The truth is: gaming has been extremely morphed by this fact, but perhaps not necessarily for the better.

I honestly don't see the point of this article. It says nothing. COD sucks. Knowing Naughty Dog, their unique new game will be great and so is multiplayer. Why companies alienate (which they don't because 75 percent of gamers still have mom and dad buy their games) with their online passes. The article offers nothing contrary to the next gen proposed state as the headline suggests.
