EVE's Playerbase is 96% Male, Is That a Problem?

CCP has confirmed that 96% of its players are male, but that is not actually a problem in this case. (Culture, EVE Online)

I would say its only a problem if CCP themselves were trying to push for a more balanced player field. Do I honestly care if its 96% male? Not really... and that is not to say I don't welcome women in my gaming nor do I think women shouldn't be playing....it just has little if any bearing on the game itself.
