Plants vs. Zombies 2 set for a July 18th iOS Release

The sequel to everyone’s favorite game that kills time at the dentist’s office is upon us. Well, maybe it’s not everyone’s favorite, but it sure is a lot of fun. “Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time” will be a free release that gives players the option to purchase new upgrades and other virtual items. (Casual games, Mobile, Plants vs Zombies)

ehh i dont like having to purchase items and such so they can rip me off. I would like to just buy the game and thats it. I probably wont get this one because of this. I still havent beat the first one. but most the time i never get to play smart phone games because im always playing games on consoles and when im on the road im usually checking emails, and browsing the internet on my phone.

Hope it is enjoyable without having to purchase the in-app stuff.

That is what they are making it sound like. We will have to wait for the game to come out to actually see how they manage everything.
