Nvidia has announced this morning that when the handheld was officially launched Android Shield, the owner was able to play 25 quality game titles Tegra 4.
launch handhled without 1st party to support just like gamble, no matter how powerful your system be, most of ppl only interest if you have some sort of ex-game, and i mean real game not stuff from google store
or if you wanna stream your PC stuff to it. i have no interest, but i have seen people that do.
Usually, that's true. But in this case, the biggest feature of the shield is its ability to stream your PC games on it; the fact that it has games of its own is mostly a bonus I guess. On the other hand, I would definitely have to try it myself before buying one, as latency issues and build quality could be a dealbreaker. We'll have to see I guess.
I love Nvidia. But still. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
I now see why they were so mad about PS4.
I usually buy every console, but I have no interest in this thing. Good luck Nvidia, but it's hard to think this thing will be successful.
All 100 people will be very excited about this news. It'll look great next to my Ouya and Onlive box. /s
looks like a 5 year old glued a cheap android screen to a 360 controler
WOW. That the most unattractive piece of equipment I've seen in a long time. I thought Nvidia was suppose to be Hi-tech.
I want one. Not because I love .99 cent Android games, but because the Android Marketplace is full of emulators, and I want to load this thing up with roms from PS2 to the Sega Master System.
Can stream games from the internet... has it's own games too. Sony's been there done that and is currently working on improvements. I'm gone play wit mah remote ya'll /s
$350, very heavy, way too big and bulky to be portable, TERRIBLE battery life, not many games, cheap feeling materials, and its main feature (streaming PC games) is locked out unless you spend hundreds of dollars to buy a brand new 600-series GPU. And you can only stream games locally, on your home WiFi. Nvidia is really limiting their market. They actually think the Shield going to sell more GPUs. This thing has flop written all over it.
