Like the hdd, well assuming the hdd, do you think there are any other specs that might not be finalized that Sony could potentially scale depending on Microsoft's showing. I feel the better Microsoft's show is, the greater Sony's show will be. If Microsoft falters, Sony has the option of going for the jugular or shifting some of its content for later events.

How was this article approved? Anyone who has a gaming blog and is writing about the PS4 should have the sense to at least know what has been announced. This has to be one of the worst articles I've ever seen.
Here are the actual specs:
28 nm SOC provided by AMD
8GB GDDR5
No physical backswards compatibility
No need for constant connection

It seems as though whoever wrote this unlettered article based his or her assumptions on the fact that Sony has stated that specifications are subject to change. However, if that person knew anything about game development, you would know that the CPU, GPU and type of RAM used cannot change without causing severe delays. Clocks speeds and portions perhaps, but that's about it.
The person responsible for posting this trash online should get out of the gaming business, because it's painfully obvious they can't even gather accurate information that has been readily available and discussed in exhaustive detail by legitimate journalists. Hell, it's been covered better by random forum trolls.

Edit: Please downvote crap sites like these. With a bit of luck they will either go away or the authors will actually learn to, you know, refrain from writing until after they've collected accurate information.

"Will the PS4 have an always-on component?"

Man those media nowadays are so incompetent! The question has been answered by Yoshida a day after PS4 was revealed : http://www.vg247.com/2013/0...
and Mark Cerny just confirmed it once more yesterday: http://translate.google.com...

I need a time machine set for June 6th 9pm. Who's got one? Anyone?

Honestly I'm exited to see the PS4 UI in full and more features along with my Infamous: Second Son!

rezzah1599d ago

It's on the 10th, just to clarify.

ricardoeml1599d ago

June 6th is Konami Pre-E3 presentation...

The_Infected1599d ago

Sorry guys I meant the 10th. I got exited:)

Following Square Enix's advice a man sees

Chaostar1599d ago

I'm seeing gameplay videos of previously announced PS4 games on top of a few exclusive reveals for other Sony first party studios in my crystal ball(s).

We know for certain there will be a first look at live Destiny gameplay from the latest trailer, seems Activision and Sony are in bed with this game.

Jaqen_Hghar1599d ago

Activision is such a whore with their COD pants on in MS's bed and their Destiny pants on with Sony. They were the only company a man saw at both reveals.

ArnoldSchwarzenigra1599d ago

It should be interesting to see what everybody's got up their sleeves. Hopefully up Microsoft's sleeves there isn't another joker.
