4CR Plays - Color Commando

"Color Commando is the new puzzle/platforming game from Goodbye Galaxy Games. I’ve previously reviewed Flipper 2 and Ace Mathician (both released for DSiWare and currently available in the 3DS eShop as well). I bought Flipper on the day it was released, so you could say that I definitely wanted to complete my GGG set with Color Commando.

Coming from Hugo Smits, Color Commando has a similar feel to Ace Mathician. As was the case with the earlier game, Color Commando demands that you reach a reward on one part of the level (a treasure chest instead of fruit) while simultaneously trying to collect 3 items placed throughout each level (coins instead of stars this time around). A new element is also introduced into the mix – you must use paint of different colors to avoid the monsters that are out to get you. These colored monsters will block your path by either just standing there or by moving back and forth over a specific part of the level, and touching them will result in doom for our adventurer… Doom!", writes 4 color rebellion.
