The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages come to the 3DS Virtual Console today. Plus, The Denpa Men 2: Beyond the Waves, sequel to the quirky Nintendo eShop RPG will also be available today.
Recent rumors suggest The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages games are coming to Switch, but that doesn't really add up.
I remember enjoying Twilight Princess overall, though the dark/light world mechanic felt too similar to Metroid Prime 2.
I never played Skyward Sword though. Did that retain the cool as fuck sheathing animation link does in Twilight Princess?
The whole time I played the remake of "Link's Awakening" on my Switch, I kept hoping they would do the oracle games in a similar style.
I wonder when the "why any other Zelda but Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword would make more sense" article will pop up.

OK......no and hard pass but ok. Look Zelda TP is a very good entry but imo its had its time and 3 versions on (Gamecube, Wii, Wii U) I say let it rest. Especially since it will inevitably be just a slightly touched up port of the HD Wii U game. Id actually prefer a Wind Wake HD port over TP. That said Oracle of Seasons/Ages done in the new Link's Adventure style is vastly more appealing to me, and I hope that's what they do.
After Mario’s 35th anniversary has come and gone, and even Metroid is getting its 35th with brand new game Metroid Dread, it may seem strange that the 35th anniversary for The Legend of Zelda passed by with little fanfare earlier this year.
No it's not. It's time Nintendo stopped with the ports/remakes and remasters and started putting in some actual effort by providing new content. Even their new console is just a port of the old one smh
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons are very much two halves of the same grand adventure, but they’re both worth examining on their own merits.

loving the weekly specials they are running on vc games. i'm for sure buyihg more then i usually would. and got to buy both zeldas too. i didn't notice there was a gaming drought on wiiu. i've had plenty to buy and play.

Just downloaded both of the Oracle games. I was hoping Nintendo would do a 2 for 10 deal, and that's exactly what they did. So I'm happy. It's only $2, but after tax I have $9 left in my eshop wallet instead of ~$6-7. That opens up more possibilities on the eshop.
