Cult Classics – The Club

Game Informer - I played a lot of Metropolis Street Racer on my Dreamcast, and I made a point of playing anything that Bizarre Creations released from that point on. To this day, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 remains one of my desert-island games (provided the island has electricity). With The Club, the studio skillfully drew upon its racing heritage while incorporating Fur Fighters’ third-person shooting. The result was a speed-based shooting competition that played like nothing before or since. (PS3, The Club, Xbox 360)

Hell yea, it was so fun in an oldschool mentality sorta way. Some of these Cult Classics choices are bit WTF for me, but this one deserves it.

I only played the demo, but had fun with it. I do lament the loss of these arcadey type of games and I think we can do with some more of them.

Sheesh...there's quite a list of other Cult Classics on GI. I remember hearing about this game, but forgot to keep this on my radar when it released. Don't think I've even looked at any review for it.
