Good to know that that won't be the last of the Last of Us ;)

I see what you did there...=). Bring on more singleplayer experience i say.

I would guess they are technically right. Content that existed on the storyboard won't even be started until after the game launches means it's still content that was cut out.

Hopefully this is the case with most DLC, but you kinda know it isn't, sadly.

Looking forward to this game.

don't remind me of Capcom please.

And let the "DLC Conspiracies" from everyone begin. I believe that this is genuinely add-on content and not cut content, in the same way that BioShock Infinite will be genuine add-on content rather than cut content from the main game. A story teller does not want to cut sections of their creation just to make money. That would be like offering missing chapters of a book for extra money.

I believe this is supplemental content to help enhance the original story rather than content that was cut from it.

" A story teller does not want to cut sections of their creation just to make money. That would be like offering missing chapters of a book for extra money. "

This is precisely what Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed II. I was absolutely disgusted by this revelation.

I would argue that by the time they were making AC2, it was a cash cow anyway, and it was beyond saving on the "storytelling aspect".

Traditionally, true creators and visionaries should not want to cut out core elements of their own content, though I must admit that it does indeed happen.

I guess this means we'll have to wait a little bit before it releases...which I don't mind.
