Some good news about the PlayStation versions of Hotline Miami: the game will run at 60 frames-per-second. Fans can expect both the PS3 and PS Vita titles to offer smooth gameplay.
and so it should, I mean jeeze, 8 bit games shouldn't tax consoles, even if they are 8 years old.
Yeah, lol. This is hardly news. My PC is worse than the PS3, and most likely worse than the Vita as well, and I can still run Cave Story and SNES roms in 60fps.
my thoughts exactly. It's pretty much a NES game graphically. No reason not to run 60 FPS.
PSone would run it in 60fps. Though interesting choice. Except a bit better responsiveness, this kind of game won't benefit from 60fps at all.
I would hope so. Not to take anything away from the game itself, since it is a fun game, but it's not exactly the type of game that would push any hardware to its limits. With that said, I can't wait for it to come out soon on the Vita.
This is cross buy??
wow, sheer power there baby! run that super Nintendo game at 60! my grandmas phone could run this game at 60
Pssh my watch could run it 60fps and its not even digital.
And they made an article for this.
It btr be
to be honest... if it was running at 30fps, especially for a game like this... would we notice a MAJOR difference? kind of pointless...
You would, actually. It's essentially a "tactical switch shooter" and if the game doesn't run fast enough to keep up with your "twitchiness", then it's defective by design.
This is coming to PS3? AWESOME!!!!
I remember playing this on PC with a 360 controller. It was fairly more difficult for me. I'll probably buy it on Vita for that reason. :P
