Microsoft has just released the Newest Internet Explorer.
I'm switching back to Firefox, because IE still SUCKS AZZ. :o
still agreeing with yourself, just sad
I use firefox too, never looked back
I downloaded this the other night through an update. As soon as it updated my Outlook would no longer accept nor send e-mails. Also the new layout is aweful. So, I had to do a system restore to get all of my previous settings back.
...Google highjacking your bookmarks, and trying to force you to login to view them. If this is an indication of the kind of crap we can expect from Vista, I'm sticking with XP.
long live MOZILLA!!!!
Firefox rules,IE sux.
I think microsoft lost browser war. I guess it's time for hackers to target firefox now, since it will become the most used browser.
There was some little program called Netscape that was once big and then IE came around...
Did anyone else notice when you go to this MS page and click the "search tab" it has X-box 360 in the search terms and "Live Search" as a search provider? Could this be a hint to something to come in the dashboard update?
I just found it ironic that they have Live Search as one of the search providers as I had never heard of this before:
But I am a converted Mac guy as of three years ago. If you want something that ensures you never look back, get a Mac. I am often using Firefox but I have to say that Safari for OSX is the best browser I have ever used. If you are a Mac person you know what I'm saying.
Check out this great ad by Apple between Mac and PC.
http://www.apple.com/getama... "Self Pity". Best one yet!
sorry dude, but paying double the price for the same performance in hardware just to get mac software....uhhh no thanks.
Anyways I don't have any trendy jeans or tight shirts so how could I own an apple.
While I'd rather be using a Mac, I prefer Explorer for my PC. It's always been faster to staert up, and usually to load pages.
Oh, wait, you haven't actually downloaded the new IE yet, have you?
My second action after trying to view a webpage in it was to uninstall it. Firefox is my ONLY browser now, not just my primary.
Microsoft programs typically open quicker on any Windows based PC because they are prefetched so there is less to load upon opening them. That doesn't necessarilly make them better, and you can add firefox to the prefetch if you would like. I think CNET's review of IE 7 says it best, " IE 7 was Microsoft's one chance to leapfrog ahead of the competition, but the company has only barely caught sight of the current front-runners. For more features and greater security, switch to Mozilla Firefox."
Have they added tabs to IE yet?
IE7 has added Tabs, its added a phising filter etc.
