The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Review (Strategy Informer)

From Strategyinformer.com: "Neocore enter the crowded Action RPG marketplace with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, a title that forgoes some of the genre conventions in favour of a more arcadey approach. As the titular hero (son of Bram Stoker's more famous monster hunter) you'll hack, slash and shoot your way through the fictional eastern European town of Borgovia and the outlying terrain. As you might expect of a game of this nature, your walk through the picturesque countryside is no stroll through the park, instead you'll spend the majority of your time indiscriminately murdering a combination of dangerous wildlife and mythical beasts, completing quests for helpless locals (or um... friendly vampires) and generally being a hat-wearing, cloak- rocking badass.". (PC, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing) 8.0/10

good solid game, have been enjoying it

How does it stack up to others in the genre like Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2? I'm interested but not sure.

plays well, story is good, NPC monsters are cool, loot loot loot, nice skill tree

has online /offline game play
decent mount PC settings

solid game, if you like d3 & t2 you will most likely like this, art style feels more like path of exile at the moment, with bit of titan quest style to it

Cool thanks, I actually like Path of Exile and played the hell out of Titan quest so I'm sure this game is my thing.
