"I think much like Halo begat the Xbox," Spencer told Polygon, "I think the Halo TV series can have a pretty dramatic impact on how people think about television."

List of people that think Halo the TV series will "dramatic[ly] impact...how people think about TV": -Microsoft -Some fanboys
I have one crazy idea. What if xbox was a console instead of a damn tv? : D
TVs have screens. It's a cable box.
Tv.....TV TV TV TEEVEE TEVE TV TV TV TV HALO TV
It's not a cable box... I don't think. I think it's a box that connects to a cable box that connects to the tv that connect to the kinect that connect to your cable outlet, then you connect the Internet to... Wait now I'm confused. Did I mention it connect to the kinect? I thought it was a gaming console? Or is it a big black coffee table with a slot to put your magazine?
That sentence alone worries me.
Yeah the dramatic impact that no one will buy the console due to the emphasis on TV
Because console and TV. They don't go together!
I'll give it a shot, but honestly, Halo doesn't really seem like the best video game to adapt to TV.
I don't want to think about TV, damnit. I watch Youtube videos more than I watch actual shows on my cable box.
Microsoft Xbox: The Company that doesn't know the meaning of a gaming console.
No games, no buy. You better blow me away come E3 M$ or I'm giving all my money to Sony this gen.
I think Don Mattrick needs to kick rocks
marketing bullplop that will mean nothing in the end. don't get me wrong, i'm hugely excited for the Halo tv series, i just bought Halo Legends on Bluray the other day. but this isn't going to make me change the way i think about tv. other than, yay, there's going to be a Halo series, which is something new. ^_^
You know Microsoft finally did something different with Halo at a conference. Instead of showing off a game they showed of a TV series. WOW
