I am dying to seem some games. I mean, all of this tech talk is great. BUT, unless games use the tech in an interesting way, it will be kinda lost.

*crosses fingers* for an awesome E3 this year.
MagickaEmperor  +   673d ago
I can't say much about the futures of either console - but the one thing I can say without a doubt, is that this is gonna be one EPIC E3! And thank god too - the last 3 or 4 E3's have been disapointing to say the least. This one may be (like 2006) one we remeber for years to come.
the last 4 sony e3's have been awesome. i'm not trolling, i watched them all and that's just how it was

I think that hoping for a good E3 from MS died when we found out that xb1 would feature always connected DRM and blocking used games.

Also what's the first thing gamers do when a game uses the rumble motors to 'enhance' gameplay in a game? Turn them off. I don't know of one person who actually likes the rumble feature in controllers.

They should do a world tour showing off the unit. Like what Nintendo did with the Wii U.

Why wasn't this part of the press conference?
Jek_Porkins  +   673d ago
Wow, looks very nice! It's super important to have a controller that works and feels nice in your hands, glad it looks like the gamer's that helped design it had some good ideas.
PurpHerbison  +   673d ago
Actually doesn't look too bad. You can already tell the dpad is cursed but that is a given.
Jek_Porkins  +   673d ago
Cursed? It's the same D-pad as Nintendo, it's totally redesigned! Looks amazing to me.
MagickaEmperor  +   673d ago
The D-pad looks infinitely better than the 'wheel o pain' featured on the 360's controller. However; it still looks unprecise compared to the D-pad on the Dual Shock 4. Microsoft should really steal the design from sony - that's the one thing sony's mastered (and thats why its been realatively unchanged for almost 20 years).
Sky_Walker  +   673d ago
@Majic - The reason why MS or Nintendo have not copied Sony is because Sony has a patent for the DS D-Pad.

But I read from people that tried the XB1 controller that its finally fixed and perfect for fighting games.

Remember that Killer Instincts is one of MS new game at E3 so it will be important for the XB1 to have a good D-Pad.

At the moment this is one of the few positives, I wouldnt mind having this rumble capability on my dualschock 4
Gamer-Z  +   673d ago
Its like the only positive thing about Xbox One is the controller.
MagickaEmperor  +   673d ago
In my opinon; besides the Zoom in-and-out feature - the Rumbing Triggers is easily the most desireable feature I'd like to see Sony eventually steal from Microsoft. If they don't I think I may save my summer monies and spring for a XBOX One aswell next fall ( I already saved up enough for a PS4 over the last year). The Analogue Sticks on the XBOX Ones controller also impressed me.
sparta76  +   673d ago
Ok!!! This I like! Impulse trigger is something I wish Sony had.
I still prefer the look of the ds4. The left anolog stick is to far up. IMO
this to me was the coolest thing about the conference
DDDGirlGamer85  +   673d ago
Controller looks much more comfortable
Riderz1337  +   673d ago
They should have focused more on these types of features during their presentation. Instead they have 15 minutes of them talking about how they made a deal with the NFL. Seriously who gives a flying fuck.

The Xbox One can be a great console and later on in some interviews they revealed some pretty interesting things about the console, things that they left off during the actual presentation when people were watching.

Oh Microsoft...y u do dis.
timotim  +   673d ago
Pretty impressed by that.
jaseo  +   673d ago
force feedback triggers.. great for games, but more importantly, great for TV channel surfing!
CrossingEden  +   672d ago
can't wait to see 15 new games that utilize this tech, 19 DAYS TO GO GUYS
MasterCornholio  +   672d ago
The feature sounds cool but its impossible to tell how good it is unless you have a hands on experience with it.

The new XBONER controller looks nice but i prefer the DS4.
creHEARTive  +   672d ago
The controller for the Xbox is the best on the market. The impulse triggers look awesome.
