The Top Five Bald Badasses in Videogames

Josh from Bag of Games writes "Whether its Bruce Willis’ shiny, exposed scalp ducking and dodging swings in Live Free or Die Hard or Lex Luthor’s bald noggin conjuring up schemes for the elimination of his longtime nemesis, Superman, hairless characters have contributed their own distinguishable mark upon various forms of entertainment for years. With our sights set deep within the videogame universe, we hope to determine which chrome-dome-supporting protagonist receives the honor of being Bag of Games’ highest-ranking, bald badass." (Borderlands, Crysis 3, God of War 3, Hitman: Absolution, PC, Prototype 2, PS3, Xbox 360)

When it comes down to it, deciding which bald badasses to include in this article was quite nerve-wracking (and honestly, insanely fun). For those unsatisfied with the choices made, comment which character you think should deserve a top-ranking spot on the list and let's start a discussion. I'm happy to talk about videogames with anyone that asks. :)

Dude....
.... ROBOTNIK! It's Dr Eggman himself. He should be on this list!!!!

Also, Dhalsim. He can be all zen and still beat you from across the room while floating, before setting you on fire with his yoga-flame!

lol, agreed.

But hey, wait! Isn't Eggman actually Robotniks grandson? I think an episode of Sonic X covered this one, maybe, or was it a Sonic X movie?

How about Blackjack from Killzone Mercenary, an upcoming bald videogame badass.

That's a good point. Maybe if we ever do an updated version of this article, we will include him. I'm looking forward to playing that game...well, once I get a PS Vita that is.

Agent 47 stealthily assaults ninja strongholds. He is the epitome of "badass".

I think Raven from Metal Gear Solid should have been meantioned. the dude let himself be EATEN BY BIRDS!? He used a Tank like a toy, and carried around a turbine of bullets on his back!? And still managed to say philsophical wiseman junk that even confused snake!!? lol.

You make a good point, Raven is pretty badass. And he is from Metal Gear Solid which is a plus as well. Thank you for commenting and making your voice heard, and I appreciate you checking out the article. How did you feel about the characters that were part of the list?

I think you did a pretty bang-up job! I thought Agent 47 & Max Payne where probably the most well known of you're list - but since they have recent games it made perfect sense. Kratos is a given. But the Village Chief from RE4 was a pretty good call IMO - especially since he's kinda obscure to alot of todays gamers. I myself might have added Garland from Final Fantasy IX, Phsyco Mantis, or Grey Fox (he's bauld under that helmet).

I'm extremely glad you added Jame Heller to the list; since he's not a particularly well know character, but is pretty awesome. Prototype 2 was one of my favorite game a year or so ago.

I think the list is perfect the way it is. The only 'real' change I would have made, would have mixed things up by using a new character - like that big bald cyborg (I forget his name) w/ the scissor blades, from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance; he played a pretty important role in that game, and was pretty badass.

I look forward to you're next list....top 5 'bauld female characters of gaming'? lol
