Here's The Zebra-Striped Xbox One Development Unit We Told You About

Kotaku: "Remember this? The console we used to call Durango was covered in black-and-white stripes. We couldn't show the pre-release machine to you then. But now you can see it, as featured on GameTrailers' Xbox One behind-the-scenes special and spotted on Twitter by @Talaviir. Maybe it was for security, maybe it was just to look cool. They do this for cars that aren't officially out, too."

The story is too old to be commented.

Look at that, they weren't kidding about it being zebra striped.

i have to say it is an ingenious idea by MS to identify just where leaks are coming from. we all thought that MS were amazing at keeping secrets except alot of the rumours were true we just didn't believe them.i personally didn't think MS had the sheer arrogance to block pre-used games despite knowing both their competitors did not ( at this point i'm questioning if they are even in competition with sony and nintendo) also the always-on rumours are mostly true the xbox one requires to be connected to the internet once every 24 hours as confirmed by phill harrison in an interview(source: http://www.gamasutra.com/vi... ). the HDMI/in rumour was true the focus on Tv rumour was true the spec rumours are hard to confirm since MS didn't give detailed specs of the xbox one but we do know it has the rumoured 8GB ram and the rumoured bluray drive that will require you to install the games onto the hard drive. wow its absolutely crazy how much of this stuff was called out before

Any gamer that is aware all im saying is of course gametrailers got a behind the look scenes without MS covering that console as we all know they are internet aware of news and leaks that is all.

Haha. The fake image they made to give you an idea of what it would look like actually looks like the Durango controller.

If you look at the shape of the dev kit its the same shape as the finished design, which usually means they are final dev kit, so all the parts must have been assembled a while ago.

What would stop somebody from painting the console or photoshopping a picture of it so there would not be any threat to leak it?
