The Next-Generation of Console WARS

This week on Sessler's ...Something, we are on the cusp of THE NEXT GENERATION... of console wars. Before we dust off those pitchforks and sharpen those spears, is it really worth it to align ourselves with one particular manufacturer? Does one console HAVE to be better than the other, or is healthy competition a good thing? Can't we all just get along? (Adam Sessler, Culture, Industry, PS4, Xbox One)

The next "console war" is going to be more rubbish than the last, current, one. more so if everything is going to be about FPS-style gameplay and DRM.

Yeah I agree.

Original games were the forfront early on this gen only later on did Cod and Halo diminish originality.

But we're ushering into a new era, though I'm excited now, I can't stop thinking about "ok what are those Ip's that will get milked to death next gen."

Whatever original games developers didn't bring to the table this gen. That they were to afraid to this gen, better bring it hard next gen.

Because COD, BF and Halo aren't slowing down anytime soon.
