TheGamerScene Preview – Deadpool

I’m gonna make this short. I love Deadpool. Not the game, I’ve not played it yet, but the character is fantastic. Ok, so he’s a rip off, pretty much a parody of DC comics character Deathstroke, but my god he’s just so much fun. I was first introduced to Deadpool in 1992. I was an 11 year old in a comic shop with my dad, and on the wall was a huge Deadpool poster. Really huge. We’re talking 20 foot wide and 15 tall. It covered the far wall. I thought to myself, who the heck is that guy? I’d most read Batman and Spider-Man, and quite a few independents at this point.
Then I saw his comic. 49p it cost me for an out of date issue. I bought it. Me and my dad went for dinner at Druckers, I read the comic, I went back and bought 5 more 49p issues, and the latest issue for £1.29. With my pocket money depleted, I went home and fell in love with Deadpool the same way other school boys my ages were just starting to fall in love with their first crushes. (Deadpool, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
