Indie developer Krillbite has announced in it's Kickstarter page that they are in talks with Sony regarding a PS4 version of the horror game. They also released an in-game video using Oculus Rift.
I hope this turns out to be a great horror game, It has a lot of ingredients I love about a psychological horror game... outlast would be another one I would love to see coming to next gen consoles... I can see PS4 supporting oculus Rift as PS3 already supports HMZ-T2 wich is basically the same
PS4 Oculus support would be stellar sir. I would also like to see your avatar's game on the PS4 quite frankly, with Ms. Hennig at the helm of course.
OffTopic: Me too... I miss Soul Reaver.. I Wish we'll see what a Next Gen Soul Reaver would look like... It would be awesome if they could make a deal for Naughty Dog to develop it with Amy Hennig at the helm of course
Sony made the right choice to ditch the cell in favor of PC hardware
Yeah... The great benificiaries from that decision will be the indie PC developers that will be able to easilly put their games on more platforms
And Nintendo made the mistake of not adopting X86 into their hardware just for the sake of maintaining backwards comparability which they could have easily done with software emulation. It boggles my mind why Nintendo went with such a bizarre console design especially the weird tri ram configuration and the tri core Wii CPU.
I really wish i had the money to back this game, this is why i think the indie devs are going to lead the next generation of games, they continue to show there are new things to be done in video games and prove that gamers do want something new and will support something different. I think bigger studios will start to take note and hopefully we'll see much more creative titles next gen which would be even easier given the far simpler to develop for PS4 architecture. UGH i can't wait for next gen!!!
