Nintendo and Sega Enter Exclusive Partnership for Sonic: Lost World

The next Sonic the Hedgehog game will be exclusive to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS as a result of a worldwide partnership between Nintendo and Sega. The game will be titled Sonic: Lost World and more details will be shared at a later date, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata stated in a Nintendo Direct this morning. (Nintendo, Sega, Wii U)

Well, at least all of the duplicates are good news for a change. I wonder if Nintendo is aiding in development at all. A friend of mine told me that posters on NeoGAF stated Retro is helping with this game. If that's true, I'm actually genuinely excited.

if I heard iwata right he said Nintendo is publishing so that would mean they are helping. but I may have misheard

and it is odd for n4g to have positive wiiu news. I guess the sony and ms fanboys are busy today. or maybe they are actually speechless because Nintendo brought it.

Its a good start for nintendo. But they still have a long way to go before i can justify dropping 350 on one. If they dont continue to to improve i'll pick one up late like i did with the wii.

sonic colors
is one of the better recent sonic games to come from sega and it is a good wii game as well. Sega should really start digging into their stash for some of those gems from years ago.

A new space harrier or galaxy force or perhaps a new daytona racing. I know wii-u is getting the 90's arcade racer (eventually) but seeing as that is sort of a tribute to sega and their arcade racing games...sega should bring some of that style back.

Yes, Nintendo is aiding development of the games. That's the only way it would be exclusive

If someone would have told me that in the future Sega and Nintendo would be so chummy...

We would have burned them at the stake.

Nintendo has acquired some strange staffers.

They hired a high ranking member from Disney Corp. and now they have better relations with Disney. (Star Wars and Marvel games will come to WiiU said an article yesterday).

And they recently hired a high ranking member of Sega Corp. - now things are going better.
-Sega and Nintendo would make a great team.

Too bad "EA" has got to be the fly in the Sundae.

(Would be great, if Sega and Nintendo go oldschool and start making their own sports game again- just to see EA's face... faces?)

PLZ GOD NO WEREWOLFS...NO MOTION CONTROLS....AND NO LAG!

SOnic is a 60 fps game!

30 fps is ok but playing sonic gen on pc.....I never went back to console!

Also I hope they make other characters playable similar to Sonic 3 and Knuckles:)

P.S

Don't turn him into anything, not just werewolf...no sparkling vampire either!
