What really is inside the Curiosity Cube?

Plus XP Contributor HelenBaby writes: "The Curiosity Cube will need no introduction to many of you. To those of you who don’t know, it is the first game/project by independent gaming company 22Cans. An addictive tap-athon, players earn virtual currency by tapping/breaking the tiny little cubes that, together, make up a massive cube. Players score extra for combo-chains which are generated through tapping the cubes accurately.

But the ultimate goal of the project isn’t to be the one to amass the most coins, oh no (although it could help you achieve the final objective). Player’s ultimate target is to be the one to break the final cube. The prize for attaining this grand achievement? Only 3 people in the world currently know the answer ; 22Cans founder Peter Molyneux, the sound engineer who recorded the sounds of the final video and one further person Molyneux has not revealed.

With the cube now being on the verge of diminished (it was reported that it was down to its last 50 la... (22 Cans, Android, Casual games, Curiosity, iPad, iPhone, Mobile, PC)

Of course, but there's no point to this game. Why should people care what's inside it?
hellvaguy  +   878d ago
Again, your missing the point. The point is identical to every other game--to have fun.

What other point were looking to find? Mysteries of the universe unlocked, conspiracy theories revealed, or a hot, new girlfriend?

You're acting like I'm an idiot with the way your responses are worded. I'm saying that this game's whole premise is about "what's inside the block". I'm asking, why do people care?

Well, why would you care what is at the end of any game?

If I am not into the genre, or the game does not grab me, I can say the same for those games/genres as well.

Just because this is simple, doesn't mean that some folks aren't having fun.

Some people have created entire works of art from taking squares off the cube.

I think it's an interesting social experiment. People's curiosity means a lot to them, and that is very real to those people.

What will be more interesting is if what's inside actually lives up to people's expectations of what's inside the cube.

Peter Molyneux's shriveled genitalia.

Sorry for that image guys.

I'm more curious as to what's in the WonderBall. Because the wonderball contains delicious candies; Molyneux games contain bitter disappointment.
