CD Projekt RED has just announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be in action for the very first time at E3 in June.
Can't wait for this E3 Dark souls 2 and the Witcher 3 - 2 of my favorite RPG series this gen... Ps4 and Nextbox Penis erectus
Lets not forget Lords of the Fallen at E3. I see great potential in that game.
Can't wait. Witcher 2 was just an overall fantastic experience for me. Something truly special and, from what I hear, they are aiming to make Witcher 3 something on its own level.
To quote the starbarians "Fuck yes"
Loved playing both Witcher games, and I also listen to the soundtracks on a regular basis. Great franchise and I'm looking forward to the 3rd installment.
I still haven't played Witcher 1 and 2 lool need to get right to them ASAP! ATM still playing Dark Souls and am loving it :D
@SlapHappyJesus bro your picture is offensive to some people, can you kindly change it. anyways with all their skyrim bashing let see what the witcher 3 accomplishes and it would be unfair to compare a current gen game t a next gen one, so ultimately it will be witcher 3 vs elders scrolls 6
I never really felt the need to compare the two franchises this gen, even though both had two games released. It always felt like the companies both had their own style/way of doing fantasy. I know they released that comment about characters in the Elder Scrolls...but really they were right. As much as I really like playing Skyrim, Oblivion, etc., I never really played it for the variety of characters/unique people you interacted with. The Witcher does that better, while TES gives you a massive fantasy world to explore, larger than what has been included in the Witcher series (and I'm pretty sure in the interview the Witcher dev acknowledged this). I don't know if I saw it so much as bashing, but just pointing out that the two games have different focuses, and what they could learn from each other.
Fair point but remember one of the draw backs of huge fantasy worlds is the repeating character syndrome, i'm sure that if elder scrolls was more linear like witcher and in its size than the characters would not be as repeating. Syrim uses 83 voice actors while witcher 2 uses 39 voice actors
Oh yes, I definitely agree that what TES goes for doesn't allow (at this point) for as many unique interactions (at least on a ratio of how many people you encounter to their level of "interest"), but it wouldn't hurt if they tried. Of all the characters in Skyrim...none were all that interesting except for Parthurnax, and in a world that massive, you would hope to run into more than just one or two really memorable individuals. I understand the technical constraints, and that they can only focus on so much, but I was just saying that the Witcher dev had a point, and was also somewhat critical of his own game in the process (about a huge fantasy world to explore). When I first read that headline though, I was definitely in your boat. I don't really like seeing devs trash other games, even if they make great products themselves. But when I read it, I saw it as more constructive criticism than intentionally provoking the other team. At least I hope that's what it was.
I think his avatar is harmless. All it shows is jesus snaping fingers at ya :). Hey, your avatar is doing it too lol. What does it say?...oh, my.
lol, just that not everyone appreciates fan created pics of religious persons(Islam and Protestants to name a few) and both of the religions hold Jesus Christ upon the highest levels of respect.
The witcher 2 was promising but some parts of it let it down especially on console. I thought the menus were a bit cumbersome and could have been streamlined to make them easier to understand but then again its not a real rpg unless you are lost in a sea of menus is it? and the combat controls needed a major revamp using the control pad. It felt very much like a PC to console port yet the game had some great points to it that other RPGs can learn from. If they iron out a few things the witcher 3 could be the new benchmark for RPGs but currently I think that belongs to skyrim right now.
Like the batman games I never have finished either witcher lol but ill be buying the 3rd game and may never finish it im a collector more than a gamer these days.
