Vivid Gamer: Publisher Dream Review

Elizabeth Burnette of Vivid Gamer writes: "It’s easy for gamers to proclaim that they could develop better games than some of the developers out there. But it’s not as simple as just choosing which genre and console to go with. It takes time, money, and a bit of luck to produce a highly popular title. Not to mention the need for talented employees. CIRCLE Entertainment’s Publisher Dream isn’t the first game to offer gamers to chance to prove that they have what it takes to create a best-selling game. However, it is the only one available in Nintendo’s eShop." (3DS, Nintendo DS, Publisher Dream) 7/10

Sounds like a pretty blatant clone of GameDev Story, but I guess if you don't have an iOS device...

I don't know I played them both (3 if you count Game Dev Tycoon) and Story is awesome, Tycoon is also great, but this game lacks in a lot detail. Half the time you don't know what your are doing and how to make it work. It needs a tutorial badly.

It SEEMS to me that the more furniture you buy the more they produce. Which is in essence The Sims not a game company simulator. I have no idea what my staff is thinking or doing, or how to train them.

and the amount of years you get is very small.

But then again is 2 bucks.

Every time I read "Vivid" I think of porn.
