So many memories.
I used to think Sonic was the coolest character ever when I was younger. Played this game for hours an hours.

Same here, even if i enjoyed the 3rd one much more.
I remember playing through Sonic 2 with Knuckles it was great to do.
That Sonic & Knuckles cartridge allowed crazy things to happen it was a genious concept SEGA invented.

I agree about the S&K cartridge. my favorite was Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

it is a shame that SEGA is no longer the gaming pioneers they used to be. it's a privilege to have lived and experienced that age, the golden age.
