Why Sony Will Win E3 2013

Sony is in a very interesting position for this year’s E3. They have already announced its next generation console back in February and we have already seen what to expect from the system. Sony has embraced raw horsepower coupled with social gaming and is set to unleash its next generation console later this year. With a number of 3rd parties already singing the praises of the PS4 and nearly every company already showing interest in the system, Sony is poised to have a very strong showing at E3 2013.

This year’s E3 is less than a month away and here is why Sony will win E3 2013. (E3, PS3, PS4)

Comment clichés you aren't allowed to use in articles like this any more:

"Nobody wins E3"

"The gamer wins"

"Company 'A' has already won"

OK continue.

On topic: I... err... umm... bu... nevermind.
LOGICWINS  +   686d ago
Damn, I was gunna use the first one lol. But nonetheless, its true. E3 is an exposition...not a competition.

EVERYTHING is a competition to someone.

OT: Yes, grass is indeed green.

Not to some. You'll see by what will follow in the comments.

It's more like...
posturing. But yes, there are winner and losers. For people who only have one system. If they have the wrong system, they may be in for a dry spell in terms of exclusives.

I agree, it is a exposition, but the competition cannot be denied.... They do compete...

Personally I want them both to win, do as well as possible, [personal tastes will determine who wins. But if you are like me and are pulling for both you want no losers. Getting the most from both consoles is a double win.

New IP's and exclusives for both consoles are what excites me the most for E3... I hope both sides bring us the best possible show...

^^If you want to play Sony exclusives, buy a Playstation console. If you want to play Microsoft exclusives, buy an Xbox. Sony and Microsoft are competing for different markets.

Both consoles will have content that appeals to different people. Its simply a matter of what appeals to you personally.

The people who view it as a competition are the ones who want both, but can't afford both...so they need to make a choice.

For people who want both, but CAN afford both...there is no competition.

E3 itself is NOT a competition. No one gets a trophy at the end. It's only a competition if you view it as a competition.

"E3 itself is NOT a competition. No one gets a trophy at the end."

This is about all you said that I agree with, though I won't bother pressing agree or disagree.

He wins who brings the games. I want to be neck deep in a pool of core games!

Nothing else will do. Everything else is irrelevant!

E3 is a competition?
Software_Lover  +   686d ago
OMFG how many times do I (we) have to say this

There is no E3 winner. Even if a legitimate website comes up with a story about who won E3, it is all subjective. It is not a competition. There are no awards handed out. No one votes, unless a website wants hits from fanboys.

If anyone, ANYONE, wins after every single E3 its the gamers who game on their respective consoles.

My only Gripe is that I think Nvidia and AMD should have a show at Nvidia. Show us some great pc gaming. But they would probably have to sign deals with Motherboard and case vendors. Too much of a hassle.

.......... F U Chaostar, lol. I think I used 3 items on your list.

If you buy a ps4 you win,if you buy a next box you win.dont worry about a company winning or loosing.
DivineAssault  +   686d ago
Sony has a great list of launch titles that we've seen so far.. After E3 reveals not only more games for PS3, PSV, & PS4 but also deeper info on the console itself & more reasons for people to buy it.. Sony is gonna dominate E3 i think..
Belking  +   686d ago
Only way they win if they're the only ones there. Nobody will win E-3.
T2  +   686d ago
It should be a good show this year anyway, and it will help consumers make informed choices lets hope. Looking forward to seeing some good games that load fast! and look great with many player options. Every game next gen should have options - split-screen, multiplayer, single, and whatever works for that game.
Plagasx  +   686d ago
The Gamer wins.
Sarobi  +   686d ago
well since I'll be attending this year.. I feel as though I win
OSIRUSSS  +   686d ago
The E3 is not a competition. Sony has no competition! Well not in the game console industry any way?
True_Samurai  +   686d ago
Smh the fanboyism is strong in the one. I can't wait for Microsoft to show what they got
dcortz2027  +   686d ago
Of course it's a competition, people want to see what each system will offer and such. Not everyone can afford multiple consoles, or they think that one is more than enough. Sony is making a smart move by getting a head start ahead of the competition and I see them not only winning E3 2013, but completely dominating the event.
Karpetburnz  +   686d ago
I think Sony will win E3 because they will probably have more first party exclusives to show.
MasterCornholio  +   686d ago
All companys can win E3 it depends on how good their conference is and what type of software/hardware they have on the show floor.

It would be very difficult for Nintendo to win because they are missing a big conference to show off some huge new games for the system.
