What We Want From the Next Mario Kart

Leviathyn.com | With the announcement of a new Mario Kart is all but inevitable, we take a look at what we'd like out of the eventual sequel. (3DS, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 7, Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed, Wii U)

STORY MODE: Always a good time.
NEW BATTLE MODES: No one ever plays those.
KEEP THE DRIVING MECHANICS: I don't want any transformations, unless they're unique.
DIFFERENT VEHICLES: See above.
BETTER ROSTER: Well of coarse.
TRACK EDITOR: Absolutely!
BETTER AI: How bout the option to turn off computers when you're not playing alone. I've seen this in Super Monkey Ball's racing mini-game, Wynaut in Mario Kart?
DLC: Sure, why not?

Nintendo should add a "parry mechanic" against those homing red shells.

I want a game that is fun and worth the money. Nothing more.

I'm not going to tell Nintendo how to make their games. I'd rather they just continue being creative.

F-zero X DD came with a level editor. It's a shame we won't see it in mario kart ( it's Nintendo, man =[ ) don't think they will bring it to the next F-zero installment either.

"Interesting" Bubble-Up to you.

I did not expect to see it in "SSB" but it was in "Brawl". And "Excite Bike" was an early game that had it.

It could happen- it would also be wise idf they made a complete game but released new DLC like the did "NSMB2" (adding Luigi Quest).

It would be great if they created another "F-Zero" or maybe a "MK X FZ" title.

It could easily work with the gamepad.

The reason I have little faith in Nintendo pushing user generated content is because they simply drop an idea when it gets too complex ( infrastructure wise ).

Miyamoto said that there was no Pikmin 3 online co-up because it would be hard with all the pikmin moving around. Whereas an western developer would simply make it work.
SSBBs level editor was rather minimal though. It's a shame you couldn't use any of the props from the built in levels. And how you share them and such wasn't exactly ideal.

I really hope there comes a track editor in mario kart and f-zero. I don't think I'd stop playing.

I want a full retail game that I won't have to pay $60.00 plus another $40.00 plus dollars for DLC just to enjoy the experience.

I want a game where we can compete online.

I want Mii Verse support.

I want the look of the game to be sexy where I say damn glad I own my Wii U.

Please give us customization Ability
