Metro: Last Light Throws You Back into Moscow's Nuclear Nightmare

Kotaku - It’s been three years since Metro 2033 dragged players into the dark, mutant-infested hell of post-apocalyptic Moscow. Nuclear war had rendered the surface a barren wasteland, and all that remained of humanity had to eke out a desperate existence deep underground.

The story is too old to be commented.

Good game so far, reminds me of a linear RAGE.

I loved how atmospheric the first one was. Last Light is downloading on steam right now. Can't wait

This game is slowly creeping onto my radar but I'm still not sure. I love a good desolate post apocalyptic grimfest and the scenes of skulking around in the dark tunnels with just a flashlight to guide you look great. I also like the little things like having to wipe the goop and rain off of your gas mask visor, it all looks very atmospheric. The main thing holding me back are the scenes of machine gunning monsters and stabbing guards. I can handle a little generic shootering if it's done simply to service a good story and atmosphere but I don't want to find the atmospheric sections are fewer than being made out and it's mostly the same old action nonsense.

Play Metro 2033. Its a lot like that.

But in the end its an FPS with a strong story. You are given the option of stealth or run n' gun for the most part.
