Higher level missions give higher level rewards. Theres your guide summed up in 1 sentence. For those still confused, you have a higher chance at rank 8+ missions.

This is not a guide about rewards this is a guide about farming SE+ and SE++ for Sigils. SE+ and SE++ or LE+ and LE++ do not drop easily when you save or sacrifice a boss. There are people that have played a level 10 Leviathan over 70 times just to get 3 SE++. This guide is to help people unlock a sigil that will allow them to get SE+ or SE++ much faster when playing against bosses to unlock sigils.

I've been playing this games since it came out and I swear to god that I had no clue about what these Shards or SE+, SE++ freakin do. I've been farming for offerings so that i can fuse them and I thought that was it. But then I took a look at my right arm and found that i can equip sigils some were locked up and were available. I thought they unlock as i level up. But now i feel like an idiot.

Yeah, they didnt really teach us about the sigils in the game and we had to figure it out ourselves. Best thing is to max the chance to freeze/stun/burn/poison/petrif y and amp the damage of specific spells.

Well said Thanatos. The sooner you can beat a boss the better.

Don't feel like that man. I was confused forever about the damn Great Seer SE+ because Magusar would only drop Great Sorcerer. You'll find that some Sigils are going to take forever to unlock. I'm currently trying to unlock 5SE++ and 5LE++ for each boss. I have certain sigils I can unlock that do a great deal of damage to one specific enemy, but it takes a lot of farming to do so.

its annoying how alot of the descriptions of the special sigils are vague. like

"grants your arm with bottomless gluttony"

or something like that. does it mean I get more xp? does it mean I get better SE and LE? does it mean I get more offering power or HP from sacrifices and saves?

It means your arm will eat all that delicious pumpkin fruit and get fat lol. I agree with you though, I had no clue what Sortiara's arm did when I unlocked it, I just put two and two together and figured it had to be a special arm because it literally did nothing to help you in game.

To my understanding the right arm+ sigils with the vague descriptions just grant you a different skin for your current arm while giving you an additional effect. "grants your arm with bottemless gluttony" means that your arm will manifest into the glutton arm but the actual effect you get is +50 effectiveness when eating from a those fruit trees and using that type of magic.

Or you could have 70% more magic to sacrifice some defense... heck 150% to trade all of your hp except for 1hp.
