Zeno Clash 2 review | Gaming Capacity

Zeno Clash 2 is the sequel to the psychedelic first-person fighting game from 2009.
While the development studio Ace Team used the Source engine from Valve for Zeno Clash, the second part has been developed with the Unreal Engine 3 from Epic. This doesn’t make a big difference to players as the visuals are about the same in this game as the last title. The areas in Zeno Clash 2 are very large, but also very empty and the time spent between interesting areas is far too long. There is a fast-travel system in Zeno Clash 2, but it only works from specific totem poles which you have to find first. These are far apart and often somewhere in the middle of giant fields, so you’re still running for hours. (PC, Zeno Clash 2) 7.5/10
