Metro: Last Light Review - TheGamersHub

After surviving the terrible fate of THQ’s closure and multiple delays, Metro: Last Light is finally ready to let you explore the wasteland and ruins of Mother Russia’s Moscow city once again. This new instalment in the Metro series houses a host of all-round improvements, as well as continuing Artyom’s story. But, does this sequel provide a similar immersive experience to its forebear? Or is this actually the ‘last light’ of hope for the series? (Metro: Last Light, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 4/5

Same here.

Was a little worried from some of the videos I saw pre-release but, now that I am actually playing, the game is definitely an improvement over the original. With the original being one of my favorite games,
well . . .
Just a fantastic experience so far. Not to mention it is possibly the best looking game I have played, with all of the settings maxed.

Maxed out it really does look great and so far runs smooth for me as well (1.5h in).

The gun play is pretty nice although stealth so far is pretty OP ;) Well worth my purchase if it holds up and can't wait to experience more of it. I'm glad they did it justice yet again as one of the best new IPs by far in years (imo) as well as a pretty cool book. Now I have to hunt down the next part of the book series in English though :(
