DualShockers | Review: Star Trek

David Rodriguez writes, "Why would I review this game? I love Star Trek, and I am interested in everything related to the franchise. I plan on seeing the film’s sequel, Star Trek: Into Darkness, this week. As both a fan of Star Trek and a gamer, there are positive aspects to this game and enjoyment can be gleaned from it from different angles. However, it is dragged down by severe limitations and shortcomings in its gameplay and overall direction." (PC, PS3, Star Trek, Xbox 360) 5/10

I'm a bit of a Trekkie (and also the offspring of a Trekkie!), and so this game really interests me. May be worth picking up when it drops below a tenner?

Yes. I enjoyed the game and I grew up watching the original Star Trek

From what I understand about this game, Kirk and Spock don't play too differently.

I was interested in this, but now I feel like I'd rather spend the $10-15 I'd put down on this on a movie ticket for Into Darkness instead.
