Nobody wins E3. I go every year and I can tell you how every year there is stuff people rave about and say this company or that company won E3. The proof is in final product and sales. So many said Wii U was a win for Nintendo and how wrong we were to say it looked underpowered and underwhelming. Looks like sales have confirmed what we said and I do not think Nintendo would say they won anything.

I thought Nintendo had said they wouldn't be showing at E3?

All they said was they are not doing the usual big press conference. They are there starting on the 11th with a media event. They have playable games like Mario 3D, Mario Kart, Smash Bros will be shown plus they've said there will be other games shown. They are doing it differently this year but will have a big presence at E3.

@juley

Sony did this with vita last year and people said the vita had NO presencce at E3.

Thanks. This whole win/don't win thing is just the media tickling your inner fanboy. It doesn' exist. Trust me, everyone is winning. if anyone is losing they leave the business. It's as simple as that. Losers don' get to put on spectacle like the big three at e3 every year. These events are huge and cost millions but make billions.

Most af all, this year, everyone is gonig to win!

Might as well take away Nintendo as a possible winner of E3. There is no way they can compete with Sony and Microsoft's new consoles.

JuleyJules1169d ago

That might be true for 'winning' E3 but it doesn't me they can't have a strong show and some surprises for Nintendo fans!

Isn't the typical measure who gave the least worst presentation?

So it can kind of be argued that Nintendo has already won/lost.

I actually kinda like that Nintendo is switching out the big presentation for the Nintendo Directs and smaller presentations because the big ones at E3 always are letdowns. Too much hype builds up and we are left hanging with less actual substance than we thought we would get. Plus, it doesn't seem anyone can get a decent speaker unless its one of the actual higher ups.
