Gaming Violence Through the Eyes of a GTA Fan

GE:

With Grand Theft Auto V taking a lot of the headlines in the news recently I started to get a craving to play the games predecessor, Grand Theft Auto IV. Despite my original thoughts of the game, I’ve actually been having a blast with it. But then I started to wonder, what makes the violence on screen seem so offensive to some people? That’s when it occurred to me that I look at it from a different perspective than most. (Grand Theft Auto IV, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Violence is a part of human nature. And violence can be found anywhere, not just a game. I think its tacky that senators choose GTA just to get some votes.

Video games are art and art imitates life. If they got such a problem with violence, then maybe they need to start working on the source...mankind.
