In an interview with JP McDaniel on his show, Real Talk, Greg “IdrA” Fields, after his release from professional gaming team Evil Geniuses, announced that he would no longer be a competitive gamer.
I remember watching him in the GSL's first 3 seasons.
What no more rage quits? :( He will be missed lol
He was an ass
Of course. He was a competitive gamer. That's part of the job description.
I see no competitiveness when you quit when someone better than you beats you. Get better. You just don't quit because of it. that's weak.
"...Well, I’m not winning nearly as much, which is part of the reason it’s less fun, but the competition itself is just not as interesting to me, or challenging to me, or satisfying to me as it used to be and without that I see no reason to continue playing when there’s..." So you say that you're not winning as much, then you say that the competition isn't as challenging. That doesn't make any sense. The second part contradicts the first part :P It just sounds like a giant rage quit...
LOL!!!! So this guy gets beat on and now he wants to quit? You know, actual athletes keep competing even if they are on the losing team. Then in the off season, they work out to get better for themselves and the team. That's the difference between actual physical sports athletes and these guys. When the chips fall, they fall with them.
This guy's a puss.
