Star Trek: The Video Game Review | The Gamers' Temple

The Gamers' Temple: "Even if you view it as a gaming exercise in Mystery Science Theatre 3000, it is still infuriating to the point that making fun of it loses its charm. I know there is a contingent of Trekkies out there that will buy anything with Star Trek emblazoned on it, and that's fine; buy it, put it on your display shelf and never, ever play it." (PC, PS3, Star Trek, Xbox 360) 30/100

Oh look, another overly critical review I can't agree with. I'm not sure which version you played, and I certainly won't argue that it's a technically perfect game, but what I played was enjoyable. I finished it solo with Kirk, and am currently playing co-op with a friend as Spock. I certainly see where it borrows its gameplay from other similar titles in the genre, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.

As I said, I'm having fun with it...then again, my expectations weren't really unrealistic, so call me pleasantly surprised.

Never played but for a gamer to get 30/100 it should be pretty much broken and unplayable out of the box.

That doesn't seem to be the case here. = failed review

I'm not even a star trek fan either...prob never will be but games of 3/10 usually deserve it.

Shame because Into Darkness has just become one of my top favourite movies.
