Not Nintendo, and surely not Sony as neither did anything with their last launches; Nintendo with the Wii U and Sony with the Vita. According to a leaked report scooped up by Siliconera, Sony is looking to up the pressure for the marketing behind the PlayStation 4, once officially and fully revealed at E3. Their slogan for their newest console aims at greatness with the catchphrase “Greatness Awaits”. When it comes to pushing a new console it is all about marketing; gamers know about the system but the name of the game is to bring more people to the console and therefore showing it off in promotional content is pivotal. They are aiming to achieve greatness with their newest console, but first must come greatness in marketing it.
