It’s no surprise to Den of Geek that Blizzard saw a loss of 1.3 million subscribers for World of Warcraft in the first quarter of 2013. There’s an obvious reason that WoW has lost 1.3 million subscribers in three months; people have changed.

Really good article. It's pretty much the same reason I stopped playing MMOs in general (EvE online I'm looking at you).
