The Cave Review - Chaos Hour

From the mind of Ron Gilbert, one of the writers of the cult Monkey Island is an idea 20 years old, taking obvious inspiration from the game Maniac Mansion, The Cave is a collaborative effort between Double Fine Productions and Ron Gilbert which offers players to dive into the consequences of moral choices.

This is “The Cave”, a cave with a voice, a tourist attraction and a dating problem, yes you heard right. Heading off into this cave are seven playable characters, and these vary from a futuristic time traveller to your everyday creepy twins with glowing eyes. Each character has their own back story and each travel to The Cave for something they desire, you select three characters to delve into the dark depths and to reveal all, be it on your own or through three player local co-op. (The Cave, Xbox 360) 7/10
