Phoenix Down 12.4 – Xenogears

Phoenix Down is hosted by Drew Leachman and Matt Quinn. Each segment focuses on an older game the duo decides upon with another member of the ZTGD crew or special guest. They play through and discuss the mechanics and how well it holds up today. It is the ultimate in backlog elimination.

The latest series has the guys digging into one of the most popular JRPGs of the PSOne era.

Hosts:
Drew Leachman

Still my favorite RPG...I enjoyed everything about it.

I'm really enjoying it as we continue to play through it. Never played it before. I wish I would have given it a try during the PS1 days. Better late than never!

Yeah. I'm having a good time with it too. Sure, I may make fun of the dialog every once in a while, but it is a product of its time. Still, it is one solid RPG.
