A lot of new screens and videos surface for PS3 exclusive Puppeteer

Puppeteer is one of those peculiar kinds of titles that Sony platforms have always been a great home for.

We haven’t seen a great deal of it yet but the Japanese site for the game, which is due out in September of this year, just updated with a load of new media. (PS3, Puppeteer)

These 2 videos aren't in the article, but they were uploaded today according to YouTube.

It really amazes me how creative some game developers can be.
It's almost magical if you look at the videos, fresh, unique, breathtaking experience.

Yes. It is highly reminiscent to LBP, and that is far, far, far away from being a bad thing. :)

I think I will pick this up, regardless if I don't own a PS3, unless it's for PS4 as well? It looks so FUN! I'm sold. *looks forward to cutting clouds with scissors.

The graphics are really impressive, and I don't just mean the art style

Oh wow, is there an actual "virtual" public who reacts to some of the events??...that implementation alone is incredible!I am loving the gameplay thus far, looks innovative and fun.

Yeah, the whole game is meant to play out on a stage. The reactions are from the audience watching the performance. All the backgrounds are constantly moving like scenes from a play.

Sony Japan Studio, you got my eyes with this game and Rain. Hopefully, The Last Guardian will join the party with The Puppeteer and Rain ASAP.

why are all the new games and ips only coming out for the ps3 this gen?
Minato-Namikaze  +   563d ago
Because sony makes them. I think sony has made more new ips than any other dev or publisher this gen.
insomnium2  +   563d ago
Because PS3 is from Sony?

This game looks amazing~

I was so surprised that this is a Blu-ray title.

At the same time, I'm so glad, as it will get more attention that way. Less surprising watching the gameplay - looks fantastic and highly ambitious!
