OXCGN’s Star Trek: The Video Game Review- Dammit Jim, I’m a movie tie-in, not an innovative game

"Simply titled Star Trek: The Video Game, the game was released as a tie in to the new movie, Star Trek: Into Darkness. It is set sometime between the two movies and promised a whole lot for Star Trek fans. It promised, but did it deliver?

Well the uninspired title gives you a hint, unfortunately." (PS3, Star Trek, Xbox 360) 5/10

This is a big disappointment. I was looking forward to it.

Always wary of movie tie in games.

This is why.

I hate that the cliche is proven more than disproven these days. Some movies would make just great games, but then they just throw something together.

It really is a shame.
