Black Ops 2 Free to Play on Steam This Weekend

Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will once again be free to play on Steam this weekend for anyone who hasn't had a chance to check out the game.

The promotion will be going live until Sunday, giving players a chance to test out the game with no obligation to buy. This can be a great opportunity to test drive one of the most popular games of 2012 and see what all the rage is about.

Alongside this sale, Treyarch has discounted the game on Steam to $40.19, 33% off the normal price. The sale only lasts until Sunday, so if you enjoy the game bear in mind that the sale is for a limited time only. (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, PC)

I don't even want to waste my bandwidth downloading it, shit game! Its not the first time is has been free either so it can't be selling well on PC.

That's what they get for screwing up one the best FPS games ever made.

I downloaded this and thought, "Well, it's free, guess I'll try out the newest version." When, I did, my God, I've only bought one CoD (MW2) and this game is virtually identical! I knew these games were same-y, but wow. 3 years... How do they get away with this?

I have played COD since COD 1, which was amazing and ground breaking at the time.

I got fed up with COD after World At War, they removed all the cool PC features and increased the price after that.

Its been the same for about 5 years now, but suckers keep buying it!
