Denial of Service Attacks Disrupt Battlefield 3 Multiplayer

Ausgamers.com: Developer DICE has confirmed that ongoing denial of service attacks on the server infrastructure for Battlefield 3 are behind the disruptions to the game's multiplayer component over the last several days. (Battlefield 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I was definitely effected by this, and EA were actually quick to say that there's issues and then later tell us what happened.
