It was on the 3DS, but it really plays like a full console experience. It's a pretty quality game, but they might run into trouble promoting it because people don't like the idea of paying $50 for a port, regardless of the content.

I wouldn't pay more than $35 for a port of a portable game. Even if it's great, the point is that Capcom already made the game, so the $50 price tag doesn't justify the little bit of added effort required to port it onto a console. IMO.

@ Erimgard: Good point. Still should be $35-$40 though. Especially the digital version, which means a nearly 100% profit for them. I don't see this being $50. Shoulda been cheaper since they owe us for that debacle named RE 6.

Capcom's rationale is that they built the console version of it from the ground up with all-new graphics and surround sound.

It still just looks and sounds like a much better version of the original, but it's not just a quick and sloppy port. They put some time into it. Is it $50 worth of time? Debatable.

Well I think the Resident Evil game might do above expectations, but Lost Planet probably wont. I played the 3DS version of Resident Evil and it is the RE game that RE6 probably should have been, and at a discounted price, it might surprise some people.

On the other hand, Lost Planet 3 looks a bit generic and I'm not a fan of what Spark Unlimited has done in the past.

I won't be part of purchasing this on consoles. I will support it on 3DS because that is the console it is designed for. Want my attention, Capcom? Put in the effort with a new Resi experience on home consoles.
