Former Assassin's Creed and THQ Montreal producer Jean-François Boivin fired by Ubisoft.

Former Assassin's Creed creative director Patrice Desilets wasn't the only Ubisoft Montreal employee let go from the studio this week. According to Desilets, Assassin's Creed producer and former THQ Montreal colleague Jean-François Boivin has also been fired by Ubisoft.

"Thinking of my good friend and producer [Jean-François Boivin] who also got fired yesterday," Desilets tweeted today. "I'm sharing your support with him..."

The story is too old to be commented.

Ubisoft are very great devs but they need to stop firing these talented people

Ubisoft arent "devs", the peoples working for them are talented devs.

Yea we always hear about publishers but rarely the dev's.

I'd be willing to be half the names people know are actually publishers and not even Dev's at all.

I know I was like that before.

seems to happen to all the talented people these days. seems like as soon as a series is popular enough with a decent following they just kick out the high dollar employees and contract the work out to cheaper smaller dev teams. . .
