Reminiscing about The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker

VGS: 'When The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker was first announced, it whipped up a storm of controversy. The dark, realistic style Nintendo had shown earlier on SpaceWorld 2000 was completely abandoned, and replaced with a cute, cartoony look. The game made use of a technique called cel shading, a graphical style that resembles cartoons with its bright colors, few shades, simple shapes and drawing like effects.'
