Call of Duty: Ghosts M.I.A. On Wii U?

FanCensus says: "Many Wii U owners out there are growing concerned when it comes to Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. With no mention being made of the game heading to Wii U, it seems even more worrying, that a Wii U version is absent on Activision’s latest release schedule." (Call of Duty: Ghosts, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Activision was already about a Wii U version. Activision replied saying that the Next Gen versions will be announced at a later date. Stay tuned.... So, we'll have to wait to hear anything.

Let's hope so. But every time a developer talks about next-gen, they're never referring to the Wii U.

Wii/WiiU versions of CoD are always announced late. End of story.

Activision classified the Wii U version in with the other next gen versions for PS4/Next-Box. Activision likes that money, and realizes the Wii U is a viable platform. Heck, they released COD games on the regular Wii consistently, doubt they'd stop now...also, the Wii U logo was seen.

Guys, Activision announced COD: Black Ops 2 in May 1, 2012, but it was not confirmed for WiiU until September.

Guess when COD: Ghosts was announced ? May 1, 2013. Chances are good that Ghosts is coming to WiiU, but it won't be announced until months later. Of course, given how poor Wii U has been doing, Activision could possibly decide to skip a port for it this year due to lack of financial incentive and opportunity cost. Personally, I don't care for the franchise, but some people obviously want it to come to Wii U, so we'll see what happens.

but that was when the wii u was still being kept under lock and key. now that its out, why would a company not announce a wii u version if there was one? even arkham orgins announce the wii u at the same time as the ps3,360 versions. that is why im saying there is no wii u version.

Wasn't there an article on n4g a few months ago on how frustrated and disappointed Activision was on how poorly BO II on Wii U sold?

that attach rate of sales of the games to console sales was very good and nearly as high percentage wise as ps360!

Activision may have been upset but then again they gave a half arsed port in the first place which was broken on release and have still not delivered DLC to the masses who want it! I for one along with many others play blops 2 on wii u for wiimote and no other reason! to boost sales of the next game I advise activision continue wiimote support and also announce dlc will come to this title! people want the same game as the lower powered ps360, however I guess offering this would upset microsoft who in effect own the franchise as the nintendo would have the superior version over xbox due to numerous ways to play and off screen play and also the excellent 2 player option where one plays on the TV and the other on the game pad! really is excellent.

It may come it may not but as people have said it is always late in being announced and maybe nintendo want to announce it at E3 like last year as part of their 3rd party support which E3 will be about as well as 1st party games.

There will be a Wii U version if Activision thinks that they could profit from it.

But until the reveal we dont know anything except for the fact that the game will be available for the PS3, XBOX360, XBOX720, PS4 and PC.

wiiu owners concerned is pushing it a little. it'd be nice to have the game but it's not that big of a concern for most of us. we'd rather have the map packs for bops2 then the full release of ghosts honestly.
